Linka develops technology for the FinTech and TravelTech industries. We also support the entrepreneurial and start-up communities. Each week, we set aside office hours through a “no cost, no fee” mentoring program so founders can obtain expert feedback or a fresh, professional perspective about areas of their business where they may be stuck or facing unanticipated challenges.
Free Mentoring: Supporting Early Stage Companies
Our free mentoring program is our way of volunteering and “giving back” to the founders and early stage companies in the start-up ecosystem. Our program is funded by our founder and the generosity of our partners.
For more than 20 years, our founder has supported the start-up community as a lawyer, founder, mentor, investor, and advocate. During the course of many thousands of hours working with start-up and early stage founders, we saw that most founders started with impressive goals but routinely fell short of converting their ideas into a successful, and sustainable business. After working with many hundreds of founders, we discovered the most successful founders consistently lead their companies within an accountability and best practices business framework. Just as important to their success was having consistent access to expert advice and feedback during the early stages of their entrepreneurial journey. After seeing so many potentially good companies fail for lack of the accountability and accessibility frameworks, we set out to share change the start-up business narrative and create a program to positively change the contour of the start-up landscape.
Our solution was to create a start-up and leadership framework that combines accountability, best practices and accessibility and delivering support through a no cost, no fee mentoring program. So, each week set aside our time and make available limited office hours so founders could meet with an experienced mentor and get feedback on pressing business challenges from a fresh, disinterested perspective.
