How is your lab different?
Our primary business is developing new technologies and business solutions for fin-tech, software, travel-tech and ed-tech. We have also providing many thousands of hours mentoring and advising start-up and early stage companies.
This year we are experimenting with opening participation in our lab to outside companies with the goal of sharing our knowledge and fostering a more vibrant and diverse business ecosystem in support of founding teams as well as existing technology companies.
What kind of early stage companies do you work with?
We have mentored and advised many hundreds of B2B and B2C companies in Fin-Tech, Clean Energy, Food and Agriculture, Artificial Intelligence, Transportation, Augmented and Virtual Realty, Medical Devices, Precision Instruments, Blockchain, Predictive Analytics, Consumer Goods and Software Development. Even though most of the companies whom we have supported fall within the definition of “high technology”, we applied other factors when evaluating whether to invite a company to join our lab. Some of the factors most heavily emphasized include team composition and chemistry, assessing if the company is really up to “big things”, professional and personal background, and the product-market fit.
